How does Juzhiyi handle the risk of glass breakage during long-distance ocean freight?

We plan for the worst so it rarely happens, and cover it when it does. All shipments carry marine insurance, and our crating plus in-container bracing already minimise movement and impact. Should breakage occur, we keep the process straightforward: please photograph or video the damaged crates before unloading, obtain a survey report from the port or carrier, and notify us promptly.

We then arrange replacement glass on the next available vessel or issue a credit note, whichever you prefer. Because we hold buffer stock on many standard items and run 26 lines in-house, make-up quantities are usually fast. Our after-sales team walks you through each step so a transit claim never stalls your site schedule.

How does Juzhiyi manage the packaging and logistics for fragile glass shipments?

Glass is fragile, so packaging is engineered, not improvised. Each unit is interleaved with cork or protective pads and packed into fumigated plywood crates that resist moisture and rough handling; crates are steel-banded and clearly marked Fragile and This Side Up. For mixed or large formats we optimise loading inside the container and add bracing so panels cannot shift in transit.

We partner with professional freight forwarders experienced in architectural glass, and because we are based in Nanning, ASEAN destinations typically receive goods within 3 to 5 days of shipment. Every crate is photographed and tallied against the packing list, and our export documentation invoice, B/L, certificate of origin, mill tests, CE/ISO copies is prepared in advance to avoid customs delays.

15
What are the available payment terms for international B2B glass procurement?

For international B2B orders we keep terms simple and secure. The standard arrangement is 30% T/T deposit on order confirmation, with the 70% balance paid against a copy of the Bill of Lading (B/L) before the container is released. This protects both sides and keeps cash flow predictable. For long-term partners, repeat buyers or sizeable project frameworks, we can consider an irrevocable Letter of Credit(L/C) at sight, subject to credit approval, and in some cases stage payments tied to production milestones.

We are flexible because many of our clients run multi-phase builds and value a supplier who can grow with them. Our sales team will confirm the exact structure in the proforma invoice, and we are happy to align with your procurement and finance workflow wherever practical.

16
How do you verify raw material quality before starting glass production?

We only source float glass from top-tier makers with proven consistency such as Xinyi and CSG so quality begins upstream. Before any processing starts, every incoming batch is visually inspected for bubbles, scratches, inclusions and colour distortion, and we verify the batch number and mill certificate to confirm the chemical composition matches our performance spec.

Suspicious or off-tolerance sheets are rejected at the gate, never carried into production. This incoming check is the first tier of our three-tier QC under ISO 9001, feeding straight into MES traceability so each finished unit links back to its raw lot. Combined with in-process and final inspection, it is why colour, flatness and strength stay uniform across a whole container or across many containers in a multi-phase project.

17
Are your glass products compatible with international building codes like ASTM or EN?

Yes. Our engineering team designs every specification to meet the standards your project must satisfy, and we hold the certifications to prove it. As stated on our official site, all our products strictly comply with UK Building Regulations and EU EN standards, and we are certified to ISO 9001:2015, CE (EN 12150) and China's national 3C standards across the full range.

For North American and European references, we align key products with ASTM C1036 (Flat Glass), ASTM C1048 (Heat-Treated Glass) and EN 12600 (Impact Testing), with EN 12150 covering thermally toughened glass and EN 14449 covering laminated glass under our CE scope. We keep master test data and can issue complete third-party test reports and certification documents on request to support local building-permit approvals and project inspection.

Because all processing is in-house and digitally tracked, we can also tune parameters thickness, interlayer, argon fill and coating so the same product meets different code thresholds. Share your local code early and we will lock the right specification before sampling, avoiding rework later.

18
What international certifications does Juzhiyi hold for its glass products?

Our products are certified to ISO 9001:2015, CE (EN 12150 / EN 14449) and China's national 3C standards, and we are recognised as an AAA Credit Enterprise credentials we hold and verify for every shipment. Beyond these, we routinely prepare documentation to satisfy regional requirements: our glass complies with UK Building Regulations and EU EN standards, and we can supply third-party test reports aligned with ASTM (e.g. C1036, C1048) and EN 12600 to support local permit approvals in North America, Australia, New Zealand and beyond.

Each project package includes copies of the relevant certificates, mill test certificates and traceability records, so your inspectors and customs brokers have what they need. If a specific market certification is required, tell us early and we will arrange the appropriate testing and paperwork alongside production.

19
How does Juzhiyi ensure the safety and durability of tempered glass during production?

We treat safety as a process outcome, not a claim. After CNC cutting and edge grinding, glass is tempered in calibrated furnaces that apply uniform, high-stress heating and rapid quenching, yielding product 4 to 5 times stronger than annealed glass. To guard against nickel-sulphide defects, we run heat-soak testing that forces potential failures before the glass ever leaves the plant. Regular fragmentation tests confirm it breaks into small, safe, granular particles rather than large shards.

Our four toughening lines handle both flat and curved, as well as high-stress fire-rated glass, all monitored live through MES for even stress distribution. Combined with strict incoming inspection and final flatness checks, this is how we deliver tempered glass that performs reliably in demanding facades, doors and structural applications.

20
What are the specific quality control standards for architectural glass at Juzhiyi?

Quality is built into every stage, not just inspected at the end. We run a three-tier system under ISO 9001:2015. Raw-material inspection checks float glass from trusted makers (e.g. Xinyi, CSG) for bubbles, scratches and colour distortion and verifies batch composition. In-process monitoring uses real-time data boards on cutting, edging and tempering stress. Final inspection tests flatness, dimensional accuracy and stress distribution to EN 12150 / ASTM C1048, plus a heat-soak option to reduce spontaneous breakage.

As an AAA Credit Enterprise certified to ISO 9001:2015, CE EN12150 and China's 3C, we keep full batch traceability and can issue test reports for bidding and customs. This digital, MES-driven control is why overseas contractors trust our consistency across large, repeated orders.

21
Can Juzhiyi accommodate specific glass thickness and size requirements for unique designs?

Yes. We process architectural glass raw materials from 5mm to 19mm and can fabricate large formats up to 4000mm x 8000mm on our four intelligent cutting lines and four toughening lines for both flat and curved glass. Our CNC machining centre, waterjet cutter and hot-bending furnace let us realise curved, shaped and drilled configurations precisely to your blueprint.

For unique facades we also supply ceramic fritted, reflective, tinted and Low-E coatings in the matching thicknesses, and can combine them into insulated or laminated units. Because every step cutting, edging, tempering, laminating, insulating is done under one roof with MES real-time monitoring, dimensional accuracy, flatness and stress distribution stay consistent even on oversized or irregular panels. Just send your drawings or samples and our team will confirm feasibility, tolerance and a rapid prototype before bulk production.

22
What are the key differences between your laminated and insulated glass solutions?

They solve different problems, and many modern buildings use both together. Laminated glass bonds two or more panes with a PVB or SGP interlayer, so when broken it holds together delivering safety, anti-intrusion and sound insulation, plus UV shielding. It is the right choice for overhead, balustrade and facade safety. Insulated glass (double glazing) seals two panes around an air or argon spacer to cut heat transfer, improving thermal comfort and energy efficiency. Our fire-resistant and Low-E ranges build on these bases.

Increasingly, fourth-generation buildings combine laminated safety glass with insulated units to get safety, acoustic control, energy savings and environmental benefit in one component. At Juzhiyi we deep-process both in-house laminating through our autoclave and insulating on four automated lines so you can specify either standalone or as a hybrid unit matched to your project's performance targets.

23
Can Juzhiyi provide customized glass solutions for large-scale commercial building projects?

Absolutely. Project-based supply is at the heart of what we do. From curtain walls and commercial facades to interior partitions, we act as a full-cycle partner rather than a simple trader. Our in-house technical team handles technical consultation, CAD shop drawings (DWG/PDF), material sample submission and structural performance analysis such as wind-load and thickness calculations, so the glass integrates cleanly with your framing system. Backed by 26 production lines, 17 years of deep-processing experience and a stable core team, we regularly deliver bulk OEM volumes with consistent batch quality under ISO 9001 control.

Recent references include Nanning Beitou Dongjing, Fude Plaza, Chongzuo South Station and the Nanning Water Street redevelopment. For cross-border execution we run a 14-step workflow with eight specialists (6 to 12 years each) and real-time updates, ensuring efficient, traceable delivery from drawing to site.

24
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for decorative and special glass orders?

Our standard MOQ is one full 20-foot container (FCL), which keeps sea freight cost-effective and lets us brace each crate safely for transit. That said, we understand bespoke projects rarely fit a single product, so for decorative and special glass we gladly consolidate several items such as ceramic fritted, acid-etched, painted or mirror glass into one combined shipment, as long as the total volume meets our logistics minimum.

With over 1,000 varieties and models available from our own factory, mixing specifications within a container is straightforward and helps smaller boutique or renovation jobs move forward without overstocking. For sample evaluation or very small pilots we also offer 30 x 30 cm free samples (client covers courier cost), so you can validate colour and quality before committing to a full container.
